'Super' El Niño may be strongest since 1950. When will it peak, hit the US?

National weather forecasters now say there is a very high likelihood that a strong weather pattern called "super" El Niño will develop this year in the Pacific Ocean. Officials in California and other areas are preparing for what could be a wet and potentially damaging winter season as a result.
