Lula seeks shake-up and Flávio Bolsonaro reaches for more support ahead of Brazil’s election runoff
Brazil held the first round of its presidential election, with Senator Flavio Bolsonaro leading after more than half the votes were counted. Election officials have projected the race will go to a runoff. Bolsonaro will face incumbent President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in a second vote scheduled for October 25.
