Ysleta ISD votes to rename Cesar Chavez Academy
In a 6-1 vote, the Ysleta Independent School District Board of Trustees approved renaming Cesar Chavez Academy on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Most trustees agreed to rename the school to The Academy, with the exception of Shane Haggerty, the Parkland area representative.
