Volcano eruption in Indonesia leaves 170,000 travellers stranded as eight airports closed

Indonesia's Anak Krakatau volcano erupted early Sunday, sending smoke and ash across western Indonesia. The eruption forced authorities to cancel all flights at Jakarta's main international airport and disrupted other domestic airports in the region. The flight cancellations and delays have left more than 170,000 passengers stranded.
