Coast Guard Seizes More Than 25,000 Pounds of Cocaine in Pacific Crackdown
The U.S. Coast Guard has seized large quantities of illegal drugs in recent operations. In one operation in the Caribbean Sea, they seized more than $57 million worth of cocaine and marijuana. In a separate operation in the Eastern Pacific off Central America, they seized more than 25,000 pounds of cocaine in less than one week. These drugs were bound for the United States.
