UEFA set to drop boycott threat, handing FIFA some breathing room, per AP

Fifa's leadership attempted a plan that upset European soccer's governing body, Uefa. Uefa threatened to boycott Fifa competitions in response. Fifa has now promised this type of plan won't happen again, which appears to have resolved the dispute.
