U.S. moves to shut a Kentucky organ donation group, citing safety failures

The federal government has moved to shut down a Kentucky organ donation organization called Network for Hope due to safety failures. The group allegedly proceeded with organ removal from patients who showed signs of awareness or life. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. decertified the organization this week.
