Turkey arrests dozens in crackdown on LGBTQ+ activists
Turkish authorities conducted raids early Sunday morning, detaining dozens of members of LGBTQ+ groups and HIV support organizations and breaking into their offices. The crackdown prompted criticism from human rights organizations within Turkey as well as from the European Union.
