Trump can’t control a free press any more than his own grandiosity
President Trump attempted to ban certain media outlets from covering his remarks. A judge rejected this attempted ban. Because of the ban, Trump's administration arranged for remarks to be delivered without audio access to the press and set up an alternative state-run media channel instead. The court's decision reflects that the president does not have the authority to control press access in this way.
