Talarico leads Paxton by 2 points in tightening Texas Senate race: Survey
Ken Paxton and James Talarico are running against each other for a Texas Senate seat. An initial poll showed Paxton ahead 48-45, but after leaked audio of Paxton saying the GOP convention hurt his campaign, subsequent polling showed Talarico moving ahead. The most recent survey has Talarico leading by 2 points, with Republicans viewing Paxton unfavorably at much higher rates than Democrats view Talarico.
