Student loan forgiveness under SAVE plan to begin next month

The White House announced in January 2024 that some borrowers in President Joe Biden's SAVE repayment plan who initially borrowed $12,000 or less and made 10 years of payments would have their remaining student debt canceled starting in February, months ahead of schedule.
