Impeached South Korean leader freed from prison
A Seoul court canceled the arrest of South Korea's impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol in March 2025, ruling his detention unjustified, and he was released from prison the next day to stand trial for rebellion over his Dec. 3 martial law decree without being held.
