Some North Carolina abortion pill restrictions are unlawful, federal judge says
A federal judge ruled in April 2024 that some of North Carolina's restrictions on the abortion pill mifepristone, including requiring that only doctors provide it, were unlawful because they conflicted with federal regulators' authority.
