Somali “Outstanding Refugee” Winner Charged in Sex Trafficking Health Care Fraud

Authorities in Minnesota charged members of a sex trafficking ring with defrauding the state's Medicaid program of over $1 million. The scheme allegedly involved an alleged pimp, a prosecutor, and others working together. One defendant was previously recognized as an outstanding refugee in the state.
