US prosecutors in trial of Menendez rest case

Federal prosecutors rested their case in June 2024 after seven weeks of testimony from at least 30 witnesses at the bribery trial of New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez and two businessmen, all of whom pleaded not guilty.
