Suspect in Canada’s Yom Kippur shooting has died, authorities say
A police officer was shot and wounded during an exchange of gunfire outside a synagogue in Ontario, Canada, on Sunday evening while Yom Kippur services were taking place. A 29-year-old man opened fire on the officer, and the two exchanged gunfire with approximately 30 shots fired. The suspect has since died.
