Real ID deadline is just one month away — here’s what travelers need to know
Starting May 7, flyers in the United States will not be able to get on a domestic flight unless they have a Real ID. After years of delays, the Transportation Security Administration will begin enforcing the Real ID Act, which was first introduced in 2005 after 9/11 to heighten air travel security.
