One dead after vehicle, Amtrak train collide in Copiah County
One person was killed after a vehicle collided with an Amtrak train in Copiah County on August 3, 2026. According to Copiah County Sheriff Byron Swilley, the crash occurred at East Gallman and Allen Roads just before 3:30 p.m.
