Oman presents Iran with Gulf-backed plan to ease Strait of Hormuz tensions

After the U.S. halted a bombing campaign, Iran said it still controls the Strait of Hormuz and doesn't want to resume talks. Oman then presented Iran with a proposal, backed by other Gulf countries, for both sides to jointly manage the strait through a voluntary fee system for ships.
