Munich picked for Germany’s bid to host the Summer Olympics in 2036, 2040 or 2044

Germany is bidding to host the Summer Olympics again after more than 60 years. Munich has been selected as the German city to lead this bid, chosen over a competing proposal from Cologne. Munich will formally apply to host the Games in one of three possible years: 2036, 2040, or 2044.
