Judge denied Novo Nordisk bid to block Eli Lilly weight-loss drug ads
Two major pharmaceutical companies that make weight-loss drugs—Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly, are in a legal dispute. Novo Nordisk went to court asking a judge to stop Eli Lilly from running advertisements that Novo claims are misleading. A U.S. judge has now rejected Novo's request to block those ads.
