Northwestern opens new Ryan Field with fireworks and a light show before facing Penn State
Northwestern University opened a new Ryan Field stadium on Friday night, exactly 100 years after the original stadium first opened. The debut game was against Penn State, which the Northwestern team won decisively 34-13. Running back Caleb Komolafe had a strong performance, rushing for 188 yards and a touchdown.
