Myanmar rebuffs ASEAN’s call to free Aung San Suu Kyi and questions the need for an envoy

Myanmar's military government has rejected a request from ASEAN, a regional organization, to release former leader Aung San Suu Kyi without conditions. Myanmar also questioned whether an ASEAN envoy is needed to help resolve the situation.
