Witkoff and Kushner, in a first, visit Ukraine for peace talks

President Trump has sent two special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to broker peace in the Ukraine war. They first visited Moscow to meet with Putin, then traveled to Kyiv to hold talks with Ukrainian officials. This represents a new diplomatic effort by the Trump administration to end the conflict, now in its fifth year.
