Witkoff and Kushner, in a first, visit Ukraine for peace talks

President Trump has sent two special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine. They first visited Moscow to meet with Putin, then traveled to Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian officials.
