Witkoff and Kushner, in a first, visit Ukraine for peace talks

President Trump's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are working to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine. They first traveled to Moscow to meet with Putin, then proceeded to Kyiv to hold talks with Ukrainian officials. This represents a new diplomatic push by the Trump administration to bring the two sides toward a peace agreement.
