Witkoff and Kushner, in a first, visit Ukraine for peace talks

President Trump has sent two special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to negotiate an end to Russia's war in Ukraine. The envoys first met with Russian officials in Moscow, then traveled to Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian leaders. The visits represent a diplomatic effort to pursue peace talks as the conflict enters its fifth year.
