Witkoff and Kushner, in a first, visit Ukraine for peace talks

President Trump has sent two special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to pursue peace negotiations in the Ukraine war. The envoys first met with Russian officials in Moscow, then traveled to Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian officials. This marks a renewed diplomatic effort to end the conflict, which has now lasted five years.
