According to Bearden Police Department authorities, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, A child riding a bicycle was struck by a Union Pacific train on South Cedar Street in Bearden at approximately 3:00 PM. Officials say the juvenile suffered minor injuries and has been released from the hospital.
