Judge to hear Trump DOJ’s argument for dropping Adams’ charges on Wednesday

After the Justice Department ordered prosecutors in February 2025 to drop the corruption case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, the lead prosecutor and several other officials resigned, accusing the department of trading dismissal for his help on immigration enforcement. A judge set a hearing on the request.
