Trump administration South Sudan deportation attempt violated court order, judge says
A federal judge ruled in May 2025 that the Trump administration violated a court order by deporting at least six migrants, including people from Myanmar and Vietnam, to South Sudan, and ordered it to keep custody of them. The administration said they were violent criminals.
