Indonesia battles growing wildfires as Mount Bromo blaze spreads

Indonesia is fighting multiple wildfires across the country during a dry season. The government deployed firefighters, helicopters, and disaster personnel to combat blazes in national parks and peatlands, including one at Mount Bromo in East Java that has mostly been contained. The fires have caused enough smoke to force school closures.
