ICE awards $16.7M contract for electric-shock gloves

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has signed a contract to buy 6,000 pairs of gloves designed to deliver electric shocks for use on detainees and protesters who resist. The agency says officers would use them for control purposes. The decision has drawn criticism.
