GoDaddy receives takeover offer from maker of Norton antivirus software
A company that makes Norton antivirus software has made an offer to buy GoDaddy, which provides web domain registration and hosting services. The two companies are in early-stage talks about the deal. If it goes through, the antivirus maker would be able to expand beyond its current focus on cyber security into the web services business.
