German foreign minister says Russia will face consequences for cyberattack — NATO, EU show support
Germany accused Russian military intelligence in May 2024 of an "absolutely intolerable" cyberattack targeting Chancellor Olaf Scholz's party and other government and industrial targets, and said Russia would face consequences. NATO and the EU backed Germany.
