Dog dies trying to protect northern California couple from bear attack
A French bulldog died while defending its owners from a bear attack in Trinity County, California on September 19. The dog's owners, Jeff and Mallory Wilson, were seriously injured in the encounter. According to the survivors, the dog's actions during the attack helped save their lives.
