Former crypto billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried appeals conviction to Supreme Court

Sam Bankman-Fried, a former cryptocurrency executive, was convicted of defrauding investors by secretly taking billions of dollars of their money. He was ordered to pay $11 billion. Bankman-Fried has now appealed to the Supreme Court, asking for a new trial and to have the payment order removed.
