FlyDubai attacker intended to crash plane into Tel Aviv airport, investigation finds
A FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was diverted to Saudi Arabia after a cockpit incident in which an Omani co-pilot stabbed the captain and attempted to crash the plane. The captain, with help from passengers, subdued the co-pilot. Investigators from multiple nations are examining the incident; Israeli sources say the co-pilot acted alone and intended to crash the plane into Tel Aviv airport. The co-pilot had previously been identified as a security risk by another airline.
