Isaias now a post-tropical cyclone as Florida, Alabama deal with flooding & power outages
Tropical Storm Isaias formed in the Gulf of Mexico and strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane, threatening the U.S. Gulf Coast with heavy rains, storm surge, and tornadoes. The hurricane made landfall near the Alabama-Florida border on Saturday. It has since weakened into a post-tropical cyclone as it moved inland across Alabama, but flash flooding and tornado threats continue in the affected areas, along with widespread power outages.
