Florida brings more charges against former Cuba president Raul Castro
Former Cuban President Raúl Castro is facing criminal charges in Florida related to a 1996 incident in which civilian planes were shot down. The planes were flown by Miami-based exiles. Florida's Attorney General obtained a state arrest warrant charging Castro with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in connection with the shootdown. The U.S. government had previously indicted him on related charges earlier this year.
