Federal judge orders immediate release of Bozeman resident from immigration detention
Jose David Cortes Torres, a 20-year-old Bozeman resident who allegedly entered the country illegally, has been ordered released after a federal judge ruled that his constitutional rights to due process rights were violated when ICE subjected him to “mandatory detention” in Cascade County.
