Judge says Fani Willis violated open records law, orders her to pay $54K in attorneys' fees
A Georgia judge ruled in March 2025 that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis violated the state's open records law and ordered her office to pay more than $54,000 in attorneys' fees to a lawyer in the Trump election case, saying it had been "openly hostile."
