FAA issues temporary drone bans in parts of New Jersey
The FAA temporarily banned drone flights over parts of New Jersey and New York in December 2024, largely around power stations and other infrastructure, after a surge of drone sightings, and warned the government could use "deadly force" against drones posing an imminent threat.
