Eli Lilly's experimental weight loss drug shed 21% of body weight in diabetes trial
Eli Lilly has developed new weight loss drugs for people with Type 2 diabetes. In late-stage trials, one drug called retatrutide helped patients lose up to 60 pounds, or about 23% of their body weight. The company also tested a combination drug that performed even better than tirzepatide alone in earlier trials. The results were published in medical journals this week.
