DOJ files record number of cases to strip Americans of citizenship
The Department of Justice has filed a record number of cases seeking to strip citizenship from people who became U.S. citizens through naturalization. This effort is part of President Donald Trump's denaturalization initiative. In its largest single filing to date, the DOJ is targeting 40 foreign criminals whose citizenship it wants to revoke. The cases are currently being pursued by the department.
