DeSantis signs death warrant for inmate featured in Netflix series, schedules double execution day
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a death warrant for an inmate who was featured in a Netflix series and who killed his cellmate. This execution is scheduled for October 13 and will be carried out alongside another execution on the same day. This marks the second time in less than a year that Florida has scheduled two executions for the same date, and it is DeSantis's 19th death warrant signed as governor.
