Democratic socialist wins primary runoff for Oklahoma Senate

A Democratic socialist nurse named N'Kiyla Jasmine Thomas won Oklahoma's Democratic primary runoff and will face Republican Kevin Hern in the general election. Thomas supports some socialist policies like Medicare for all, but disagrees with other DSA positions such as cutting the Defense Department.
