Dangote refinery launches Africa’s biggest IPO for retail investors
Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, has launched a public share offering for his Nigerian oil refinery, which cost $19 billion to build. He is trying to raise $1.6 billion by selling shares to individual investors across Africa. This is the largest share offering of this kind on the continent aimed at regular investors.
