California AG calls off Paramount settlement talks, accuses company of ‘playing games’

California and 11 other states sued to block a major merger between two large media companies. Settlement talks between the state and one of the companies broke down after disputes over how the negotiations were being handled. The state's top lawyer said he's willing to resume talks if the company changes its approach.
