Army veteran, 74, files lawsuit after wrong leg amputated
A 74-year-old Army veteran underwent leg amputation surgery, but doctors removed the wrong leg. She later had the correct leg amputated in a separate procedure four months later. She is now living as a double amputee and has filed a lawsuit over the medical error.
